  • Speech Evaluations: 20-30 minutes (For the prepared & Impromptu Speeches)

  • Club Business, Awards, and Closing: 10-15 minutes

Opening

Call to Order: Smooth Speech Master initiates the meeting.

Introductions

Welcome and Introductions: SSM welcomes attendees and introduces guests.

Functionary Introductions: Introduction of key roles such as Timer, Proactive Speaking Skills Monitor, Impromptu Master, Smooth Speech Master

Prepared Speeches

  • Scheduled members deliver prepared speeches, each followed by an evaluation.
  • Three members give prepared speeches Speeches (5-7 mins each)
  • Members select the topics that they usually have to give presentations on at work, school etc.

Impromptus

  • Impromptu Master introduces impromptu speaking topics for members and guests. These speeches would then be evaluated.
  • Five members or more (including the guests) give impromptu speeches (2 mins each)
  • With the help of club members, we will compile a list of spontaneous topics for presentations, stand-ups, interview questions, etc.

Speech Evaluations

Evaluators provide constructive feedback on the prepared & the impromptu speeches. A form has been created which all members can use. The Smooth Speech Master as well as the participants provide the feedback.

Reports & Feedback

  • Timer's Report: Reports on time used by speakers.
  • Proactive Speaking Skills Report: Highlights the use of the proactive speaking skills by the presenters.
  • Ahh, uhmm & like counter Report: Notes these filler words used by speakers.
  • Smooth Speech Master’s Report: Provides feedback to all the speakers (together with some participants) and gives an overall evaluation of the meeting.

Role Players' Reports: Reports from other meeting roles like the Impromptu Master.

Club Business

  • Announcements: Pro90d Virtual Speech Masters Club updates are shared.
  • Guest Comments: Opportunity for guests to provide feedback.
  • Guests are allowed to join a maximum number of two meetings without any fee.

Closing

  • Awards: Winner & Runner Up awards are announced for the prepared & the impromptu speeches.
  • Closing Words: The meeting is officially closed.
  • Every three months, the winners from each of the meetings have a competition.
